Pastor Claire Ackleow

Pastor Claire (she/they) is a “Cradle Lutheran” who grew up at Holy Communion Lutheran Church in Racine, WI. She is a second career pastor with a background in Education. She did her undergrad work at University Wisconsin-Parkside, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Art and Spanish. She spent about a decade teaching, beginning with Head Start and ending with Special Needs High School students. She earned her Master’s Degree from Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, IA. She spent her three-month Clinical Pastoral Education (Chaplaincy) program at NCH in Naples, FL and spent her year-long internship in Coos Bay, OR at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. 

Pastor Claire is married to her wonderful wife, Jules (she/they), and they have three dogs. She enjoys Harry Potter, art of all kinds, and spending time with her family. 

Dr. Brittny Kempfer

Brittny has been with the church since 2023 and is responsible for all programs that are music related including the children's choir, children's bell choir, and playing the music for regular Sunday worship sessions. Aside from being the Musician at Faith, she is highly accomplished as an Assistant Professor of Music Education and Choral Music, and a Sergeant in the United States Army National Guard.  

Patti Smith

Patti has been a member at Faith Lutheran since 1979.  She took on the role as church secretary in 2005. She is semi-retired, a mother to 3 adult children and recently became a first time grandmother to her beautiful granddaughter. She enjoys serving the church in her capacity as secretary.
