Weekday Church School |
|
Staffed by faithful volunteers, this program offers
Christian preschool education and activities at a modest price for
children one and two years before they are to enter kindergarten.
Classes fill quickly each year. Contact Carol Taylor for details
and registration. Classes meet Tues. and Thurs. morning from 9:15 to
12:15. The program includes a Bible story, music, free play,
snack, art, recreation. Each program also has an overlay of academics.
Colors, shapes, number work and letters and sounds are taught each day.
Registration is held on February 1 of each year by calling Carol Taylor
at 6:30 am at 502-228-1329.

Sunday Church School |
|
Classes are available for ages two to through adult. Sunday school is held from 9:15 am to 10:15 am each Sunday from Labor day until Memorial day. |

Vacation Bible School (VBS) |
|
Classes are available for ages three to finished sixth grade. VBS is held the last full week of July. The program is held from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon Monday through Friday. There is a program on Thursday evening and lunch is provided for the children on Friday at noon. The program is funded by the church through a free will offering collected each day and at the closing program. Bible stories set the theme for the day. Art, recreation, and snacks all follow this theme. Age appropriate material is provided for the different age levels, by the theme of the day is the same for all ages. Generally, twenty percent of those attending are church members while the other eighty percent are from the community. All are welcome. Time & schedules |
